This Training Course is designed to help local youth workers, mentors and volunteers to better understand youth research and mapping in order to improve their youth work quality.

Goal of this training course is to help local youth workers, mentors and volunteers to better understand youth research and mapping in order to improve their youth work quality.

In this training course we want to help youth workers, mentors and volunteers to understand the value of good quality researching and mapping. Why it matters? Whats to research? How to research? To these questions training course will provide answers with the help of non-formal education methods, practical tasks in local youth organizations and group works.

At the same time this training course is a great opportunity to visit Liepāja - the warmest and most exotic city of Latvija. Training course will be hosted in a camping place 10km from the city and just few meters from the beach. During the training course we will visit the city of Liepāja, historical russians war city Karosta and activities on the beach.

This training course implemented as a part of KA02 project about youth mental health. During this training you will have a chance to learn about youth mentoring and mental health from perspective of both youth workers and psychologists.

Accommodation and food

This project is fully funded by "Erasmus+: Youth in action" program. This includes:

Accommodation and food (3 times per day + 2 coffee breaks. Most foods will be cooked by local and seasonal products. Most foods will be vegan or vegetarian, please let us now about any dietary restrictions.

Materials and methodology of activities;

Travel reimbursement

Travel costs up to the maximum expenses depending on the country you represent. Since this project is planning to leave as small carbon footprint as possible, we invite you to use more environment friendly ways of transportation (bus, car, train). For that traveling expenditures are higher than usual.

Latvia - 20 EUR/ per person;

Lithuania - 210 EUR/per person;

Poland - 210 EUR/ per person;

Estonia - 210 EUR/ per person;

Georgia - 320 EUR/ per person.

Also, if you are travelling the green way and spend a long time on the way, we can reimburse food and staying expenses up to 80 EUR per participant. About this you have to personally contact coordinators.

NOTE! We will not reimburse taxi, first class tickets.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
