Study visit of local youth work in Slovenia: Youth participation as foundation of youth work

Study Visit

5-9 June 2023 | Ljubljana, Slovenia

The aim of the study visit to Slovenia is to show the practices of youth work in Slovenia, which are based on the principles of the European charter on local youth work and to show the national context of Slovenian youth work.

The frame of the study visit is National Agencies' strategic partrnership Europe Goes Local, which is fostering quality youth work development in a local level.

Activity will start on the 5 June with a dinner and a short session after and will end on the 8 June in the evening with a dinner. Departures are planned on the 9th June. 6 June will be dedicated to presenting a national context and youth work in Ljubljana. On the 7 and 8 June participants will travel  with a rented bus to four other municipalities. Accomodotaion and breakfast will be provided in Ljubljana, other meals will be provided on the location of the study visits. Participants will be supported by NA staff and a facilitator.

Study visits in municipalities will be hosted by municipal staff and/or decision makers and/or youth work managers and/or young people, depends on the case and will show how particular local community is addressing youth work and participation.

Participants of the study visit will be invited to share their realities - one session will be dedicated to the exchange od practicies among them.

This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme.

 

 

Accommodation and food

The hosting NA of this offer will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.

 

Travel reimbursement

Please contact your NA or SALTO in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
