Study Visit

18 January - 31 December 2024 | Poland

We invite you to apply for our Europe Goes Local mentoring program 2024 tailored for the participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine!

 

During this mentoring project, selected participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop a personalized plan for enhancing local youth work.
  • Receive guidance and support from local mentors
  • Make the European dimension an integral part of local youth work provision.
  • Implement youth work development plan on a local level.
  • Offer tools and opportunities for local stakeholders to collaborate and develop common projects.
  • Recognize and promote European best practices for peer-learning.

We are seeking individuals who are:

  • Involved in youth work at the municipal level (municipal workers, those cooperating with local authorities).
  • Committed to actively participating in all stages of the project throughout 2024.
  • Interested in the knowledge of local youth work development.
  • Equipped with ideas on how to develop local youth work in their region (e.g., youth policy development, enhancing E+ and ESC opportunities at the municipal level, fostering cooperation with local youth through various activities).

Project Timeline:

  • January 2024: Selected participants meet online with local and EGL mentors for a get-to-know meeting.
  • End of February 2024: 3-day intensive training and study visits in Poland, Warsaw, Lublin, Radom etc.
  • May - June 2024: 2-day training with local mentors;
  • Summer 2024: mid-term evaluation meeting in Georgia during the project LAB.
  • December 2024: Participants meet for a one-day closure and evaluation ceremony.

In the application form:

  • please develop a short outline of local youth work development program in your region and share in the application form
  •  in case you are chosen, please present the letter of approval from your local municipality

Participation is free of charge. The program covers all costs associated with each stage of the project.

Participation fee

No participation fee is included

Accommodation and food

This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.

Travel reimbursement

Please contact your NA or SALTO in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
