Heartful Leader is an intense 7-day learning experience hosted by Društvo Metta, designed for youth workers, trainers, and educators dedicated to fostering the potential of young individuals.
Meeting the youth from the space of mutual respect and authentic connection, we will be exploring:
The learning mobility will take place at organic farm Metta, Slovenia. The place offers modest yet pleasant accomodation in shared rooms. Most of the activities will take place outdoors. Wholesome and nutricious vegan / vegetarian meals will be provided for the participants. As we wish to open a safe space to meet in our authenticity, the participants will be invited to follow a no alcohol & no substance use policy for their entire stay.
We are looking forward to welcome people working with youth (youth workers, trainers, educators, volunteers, scout leaders, mental health professionals, movers, NGO leaders working with marginalized groups, youth, etc.) who wish to support their groups in a more embodied and holistic way. The participants must be over 18 years old and have a communicative level of English language, so they can participate fully in a program that will be held in English.
Selected participants are expected to commit fully to all the phases of the project (preparation, main activity, follow up).

If you are a resident of another European country (not listed in infopack) AND active within an NGO that is willing to become a partner for this project, you can also apply (please state the name and OID number of your organization).

Travel costs will be reimbursed individually (after the participants submit their original travel tickets & invoices), up to the max. amounts of:
28 eur for Slovenia (56 eur if green travel)
211 eur for Austria, Hungary, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Croatia (285 eur if green travel)
309 eur for Romania and Poland (417 eur if green travel)
We strongly encourage GREEN TRAVEL (by train, bus, car pooling) - below 500 km, participants are expected to travel with low-emissions means of transport.
