Main Aim: To enhance the capacity of youth workers and leaders to cultivate sustainability-focused soft skills among young people through non-formal learning activities.

Main Aim:

  • To enhance the capacity of youth workers and leaders to cultivate sustainability-focused soft skills among young people through non-formal learning activities.

By the end of the training course participants will be able to:

  • Integrate sustainability principles and themes into non-formal learning activities in a meaningful and engaging way.
  • Empower young people to take ownership of their learning process and actively engage in sustainability-focused activities.
  • Utilize a variety of participatory methods and techniques to enhance the engagement and learning outcomes of sustainability-themed activities.
  • Lead yoga, sound meditation, and embodiment sessions to promote mindfulness, relaxation, and connection with the environment among young participants.
  • Engage youth  in art therapy sessions focusing on nature connection and sustainability themes, encouraging self-expression and creative exploration.
  • Facilitate group discussions and reflection sessions to consolidate learning, deepen understanding, and identify personal insights related to sustainability and soft skills development.
  • Develop action plans for sustainability initiatives in their communities, incorporating concrete steps and projects for implementation.
