As the current edition of the Youth in Action Programme is coming to an end, UK NA would like to bring together UK organisations who applied for and/or organised EVS (Youth in Action - Action 2) projects.

The project will be a platform for reviewing and reflecting on EVS projects implemented by UK organisations within the Youth in Action Programme. This will lead on to discussion and planning of new EVS projects for 2014 and beyond (based on available published information at the time). The Meeting will be based around a series of non-formal learning activities and group challenges. We hope that the meeting will be the source of inspiration, new knowledge and fun as well as excellent partnership-building opportunity for those attending. Meeting objectives: - Evaluating impact of EVS projects on young people - Reflecting on UK organisations’ experiences within EVS - Reflecting on benefits of international youth work and volunteering - Networking and building peer support networks on a national level - Sharing experience of good practice in Youth in Action work - Learning about the upcoming European youth programme - Planning future activities Participant profile: - Volunteer or staff at a UK organisation that has applied for at least one EVS/Action 2 project within Youth in Action

Costs

All accommodation and programme costs are covered by Youth in Action. Travel costs will be reimbursed afterwards at 95% by the British Council (UK National Agency).
