The training course "Coaching - Open Your Potential" aims to provide young people, youth workers and leaders working with disadvantaged youth with skills in coaching and mentoring other young people.

This Training Course Coaching - Open Your Potential will take place in October, 2013 in Stepanavan, Armenia. It will bring together 30 participants from 22 organizations from all over EU and EECA region, namely Romania, Spain, Italy, Poland, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Latvia, Hungary and Norway. It aims to provide young people, young people, youth workers and leaders working with disadvantaged youth with skills in coaching and mentoring other young people. Participants will gain practical skills in effective coaching, providing peer support, improving communication skills, setting personal goals and giving feedback to their peers. They will develop plans and projects how to utilize the new skills locally, train others in their organisations acting as multipliers in their home countries as well as develop joint European initiatives.

Costs

Participants are responsible for 30% of travel costs. The organizers will cover 70% of international travel costs to the venue and 100% of staying costs during the project. There is 25 EUR participation fee.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
