International start - up training course on managing quality projects and sustainable social initiatives in youth work
o Main elements of the Training Course Aim: The main aim of this training course is to provide the participants with essential competences in the field of project management in order to enable them to build sustainable social initiatives and in this way to foster the youth employability within their local communities. Through the supporting learning process this training course aim to enhance the personal and professional development of the participants, so that they act as multipliers of the gained knowledge within their organizations and their local communities. Objectives:  Building up competences of participants in relevant areas of project management such as:  Exploring different project management tools  Project management practice  Exchange of project ideas and building up future projects and partnerships  Supporting process and development of your organization  Exploring concept of employability through youth work or “to be a multiplier”  Ensuring creativity  Ensuring quality impact and sustainability of their initiatives  Action planning for further development:  Elaboration of Action Plan o Main Approach The training course will be based on the specific needs of the participants and their organisations and will be highly participatory. The diversity in the group of participants will be considered as a resource for the building‐up and transfer of competences. There will only be few frontal lectures, the main part of the training course will be delivered in the form of practical sessions implemented by the participants in a learning‐by‐doing fashion. The trainers will take care of creating a supportive and safe learning environment, where participants are encouraged and coached while mastering challenges that contribute to their personal, professional and organisational development. Special attention will be paid to making the learning points of the training course relevant, sustainable and transferable, by giving ample space for reflection and assessment, by producing exhaustive documentation and by providing templates and guidance for tailor‐made development and action plans.

Costs

The participants pay 40 Euros pf participation fee on the spot. 70% of the travel costs will be reimbursed according to the rules of the YIA Program. Board, lodging and all materials will be covered by the hosting organization.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
