Minority are victims of numerous and varied human rights violation. There is a need to go beyond anti-discrimination policies/strategies designed to prevent unequal treatment of young people and to get opportunity of minority young people for future and better inclusion in the society. Effective human rights education not only provides knowledge about human rights and the mechanisms that protect them, but also develops the skills needed to promote, defend and apply human rights in daily life. Human rights education also fosters the attitudes and behaviors needed to uphold human rights for all members of society. The Aim of the project is to increase participant’s knowledge and raise awareness about: HRE, social exclusion and inter-cultural dialogue in youth work with minority young people by initiating concrete activities bringing positive social change into the local context. Objectives:  To increase participants knowledge and raise awareness about: HRE, social exclusion, intercultural dialogue and tolerance in youth work with minority people by initiating concrete actions bringing positive social change into the local communities;  To develop practical competencies in Non Formal Education-specifically in HRE methods with minority people;  To experience human rights and social inclusion education activities and explore how to adapt them at local context;  To enable the participants to act as HRE multipliers in the benefit of minority young people affected by Human Rights violations;  To develop a strong network and possibly plan for future cooperation project.

Costs

The hosting organization will cover full board and lodging costs, and 70% of travel costs, after providing original invoices, tickets, boarding passes… Participation fee: 20 €
