Partnership-building Activity

This Partner Building Activity and gathering aims to explore the possibilities of creating a united identity and approach for trainers that could offer professional support and a platform for dialogue with stakeholders.
Intro: It has been identified that there is a need to strengthen the network of trainers working in the international youth field, to develop further the concept of trainer as a profession, practice and to create a common understanding and guidance that promotes quality in youth work and trainings in the context of ERASMUS +. This Partner Building Activity and gathering aims to explore the possibilities of creating a united identity and approach for trainers that could offer professional support and a platform for dialogue with stakeholders. It has a long term approach and aims to be organic in its development and open for whole community of European trainers. More details: This Partner Building Activity is an approved 3.1 Application and is for trainers working in the international youth field. There will be 4 working days and the activities will be based on non-formal, and self-directed learning methods. The activity will be hosted in East Clare Golf Village in Bodyke, Ireland. The aim of the project is to improve cooperation between trainers in the international youth field and to prepare for Erasmus+. The objectives are: - to establish solid , long-term, strategic partnership among international trainers in the youth field - to create common guidance describing quality of youth work and training in the frame of non formal education taking into account cultural diversity - to continue work on competences of international trainer in the youth field - to support the quality of international youth work and training by creating virtual space and collecting training and youth work tools - to create new partnerships and innovative projects for youngsters with fewer opportunities, taking into account the economical and political context of different countries. This Partnership-building Activity is for 24 participants from YOUTH IN ACTION PROGRAMME COUNTRIES and NEIGHBOURING PARTNER COUNTRIES from EECA region (namely: Ireland, Slovakia, Croatia, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Hungary, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, Spain, Poland, Bulgaria, Finland, Turkey, Armenia, Belarus and Belgium). !!!!!Please note, that for participants who require a visa to enter Ireland the deadline for submitting the application is February 5, 2014!!!!!

Costs

This project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this seminar, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in this seminar will be covered by organiser - except 30% of the travel costs. The participants are requested to advance the visa and international transportation costs and will be reimbursed after the event. Full documents will be requested for reimbursement (invoices, boarding cards, etc).

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
