Training Course

26 April - 4 May 2014 | Novi Sad, Serbia

Training is developed for youth workers who will further take action in field of social inclusion and cultural diversity, through new initiatives or enhanced activities and will increase opportunity for ALL to access & participate in youth work projects.
Themes of the project are: European awareness, anti-discrimination, cultural diversity, inclusion, identity development, dealing with conflicts, strategic approach to building inclusion through youth work, European cooperation for inclusion and diversity. Objectives: • Share realities regarding inclusion & diversity in our communities • Understand different aspects of youth work and inclusion/diversity • Explore concepts of identity & its development as starting point to understanding inclusion/diversity around us • Increase empathy with different aspects of discrimination/exclusion & discuss how to deal with challenging situations • Explore existing policies on Fundamental Rights in Europe & understand their connection and implications to youth work for inclusion/diversity • Share youth work tools/methods for achieving greater inclusion • Develop strategies for local/European activities of youth work for promotion of inclusion/diversity • Present useful EU and CoE resources and programmes to encourage European cooperation among partners for inclusion

CJCD is non-governmental and non-profit association, founded in April 2011 for establishing of its goals in the field of civil society empowerment: promotion of human rights and civil society strengthening, support of educational and legal reforms, environmental protection and raising awareness about ecology, development of rural areas and support of small entrepreneurship.
Goals of the association:
- efforts to strengthen civil society organizations
- commitment to strengthening the organizations that represent marginalized groups
- commitment to strengthening the culture and human rights protection mechanisms
- commitment to strengthening the culture of the minority rights and their protection mechanisms
- commitment to strengthening the culture of the religious rights and their protection mechanisms
- initiate and support the development of local initiatives

Costs

70% of travel costs will be reimbursed only for the cheapest way of transport and preferably for the return tickets. (In the attached call for participants one can find the table with eligible costs for participants coming from each country of the partner organisations of the project). The travel reimbursement will not be done on the spot, but after the return of the participants to their homes and after they send the original tickets and boarding passes to the organisers. Participation fee: NONE! All accommodation and food costs in the hotel are covered by the organisers.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
