The EuroMed Spring Workshop focus on learning good practices in planning and implementing good quality youth exchanges in Erasmus+ and EuroMed Programmes. The participants learn about the importance of youth participation and find partners for projects.
Aims & objectives To raise the quality of youth exchanges, to discover and to increase skills, abilities and competences of youth workers in EuroMed context, and too increase impact of youth exchanges on youth. Objectives of the training course • To promote YOUTH PARTICIPATION in a youth exchange project • Understand EuroMed context in a youth exchange project • To promote cooperation for future projects Programme elements • Homework: for a strong preparation before meeting in Finland • aspects of Erasmus+ and EuroMed • To share experiences of the participants in the frame of participation of young people in the process of a youth exchange: through templates and workshops • How to make a youth exchange with active participation of young people • Shape and design common project-ideas in team work • Daily process; let's meet, let's prepare, let's share, let's learn, let's participate, let's have a taste of Finnish culture. Participants: The course was intended for youth workers and youth leaders who • have experience of at least youth exchange or motivation to develop a youth exchange with and for young people; • are involved directly with young people • have basic knowledge of the Youth in Action / Euromed Programme / Erasmus+ Programme • are motivated to take active part in the training and are able to attend the course for its full duration; preparation / training / follow up Note to NAs: This is a TCA 14 activity

Costs

The Polish, Finnish, French, Belgian, Irish, Hungarian, Turkish and Italian participants' travel costs are covered by their National Agency. Please contact your National Agency to find out what is the practice of covering the travel costs in your country The MEDA participants' travel and visa costs are covered by the French National Agency. The travel arrangements are taken care of by the Finnish National Agency. The selected participants will be informed how the travel can be arranged and what are the budgetary limits. The travel should be arranged by the cheapest means. More information to participants who have been selected.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
