Welcome to this short description of the upcoming study visit on Youth Work and Youth Participation projects at local level in Morocco organised by SALTO EuroMed, Italian National Agency of Eramsus + Youth in Action and Regional Capacity Building and Support on EuroMed Youth Program IV (RCBS). Join us and have an exciting experience giving you the opportunity to discover yourself another side of the Morocco society, and live this unforgettable experience. The aim of this study visit is to enable the participants to be exposed of the youth work in Morocco, youth policy and stakeholders involved on implementing it, youth participation in Moroccan society, in all its levels, get familiar with the non-formal education and the way it is organized in Morocco, volunteering services, as well as youth with special need. The study visit will take participants to as much as possible places throughout the north of Morocco, showing the uniqueness of each place, visiting youth organizations and showing good samples of best practices, analyzing and discussing youth work and youth participation projects at local level. The study visit will enable participants to gain more knowledge on the participation of Morocco youth organisations in international programs, especially EuroMed Youth Program and Erasmus + Youth in Action Program, giving chance to possible future partnership building in the framework of both Programs between organisations. Aim and objectives: 1) Provide opportunity to reflect and discuss about the good practices and youth participation in Morocco; 2) Visit NGOs working about the topic and discuss about educational models and different approaches of youth participation; 3) Provide opportunities for new networking among the international group of organisations. The study visit will provide, during a first introduction day, a general framework presentation that will lead the participants in understanding: 1) The general political and social framework of Youth Participation in Morocco; 2) The main milestones reached in the last years and the forecaster developments; 3) The general situation of youth population and their challenges. The thematic focus of this Study Visit will be developed during the filed visit and will be: 1) Urban NGOs work within the framework of Youth Participation (Visit in Rabat and Salé) 2) Inclusion and participation (Visit NGO in Meknes) 3) Rural NGOs and women projects (Visit NGO in Larash region) 4) Youth participation projects and Youth Council (Visit in Assilah) 5) Youth participation and Entrepreneurship (Visit in Kenitra). Participants: Study Visit will bring experienced youth workers from Program Countries (i.e. EU and EFTA member states, Turkey) as well as NA’s officers (i.e. representatives of the National Agencies of Erasmus+ Youth in Action Program). In the best case a national pair composed with each profile (1 representative of NA and 1 youth worker). National Agencies are invited to spread the call at national level and to select the youth worker that will participate in the Study Visit. Applicants' Criteria for youth workers: • Are representative of the youth organization or organization working with young people, whom are able and authorize on behalf of its organization to create future projects ideas • Have basic knowledge about the Erasmus + Youth in Action Program (experience in projects with EuroMed countries is very welcome) • Are prepared to participate in follow-up or evaluation activities organized by the National Agency or SALTO-YOUTH network • Are prepared to actively attend and contribute during the full duration of the Study Visit

Costs

This project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country.
