The project aims to empower young people with skills and knowledge about how to lead successful international mobility an volunteer projects and involve participants in active way in social volunteering.
Training Course “More Action Please!" will take place in Sicily - Italy, from 23rd to 30 March and will gather 22 participants from 11 countries and 11 organizations. The project aims to empower young people with skills and knowledge about how to lead successful international project and involve participants in active way. The main focus it will put on how to increase effectiveness of formal and non-formal education, to organize a powerful visibility event, effective follow up, and how to involve actively participants with less opportunities. The main objective is to give to young people an active role in coordination of projects and instruments to create powerful mobility for youth with really active participation of all involve young people and at the same time to contribute to improving quality of projects under the Erasmus+ Programme, KA1. Participants will through non-formal methods share experiences and search new ways of how to improve a project. One of the objective of the project is to encourage young people sense of initiative, entrepreneurship and active citizenship. Participants will be young people, active volunteers, which have already some experiences in participate in international youth projects and are interested to became a leader. The TC More Action Please!, is open also to participants with fewer opportunities.

ICARUS NGO has been established in the month of June 2011 by a group of volunteers who had previous experience in European mobility projects in different fields, either volunteering either training and education (LLP Leonardo, EVS, Marie Curie, International volunteer projects and workcamps, etc)
ICARUS has the following aims:
- Promotion of international mobility rights as an inalienable human right and as a tool of training and shape personal development and growth of the individual;
- Promotion of active citizenship in particular of disadvantaged and marginalized people or at risk of being marginalized and excluded;
- promotion of culture of legality and human rights;
- promotion of International cooperation as a tool for sustainable developement and self centred, together with the developement of sustainable, solidal human and social relations
- promotion of local and International volunteer activities as tool for social intervention and to build a fairer, supportive society able to promote Peace and Justice values

Costs

All costs concerning meals, accommodation, VISAS and insurance as well as the program and materials will be fully covered for the whole duration of the training. According to the new rules within the Programme “Erasmus+” we will reimburse the travel costs for the Training Course - on the basis of the cheapest possibilities, accompanied by the receipt of complete and original tickets, invoices, boarding cards etc. upon a certain “contribution to the travel costs of participants, from their place of origin to the venue of the activity and return”. This contribution is “based on the travel distance per participant. Travel distances must be calculated using the distance calculator supported by the European Commission” Travel costs limits: Italy = 180 € France, Moldova, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovakia = 275 € Georgia, Estonia, Armenia, Ukraine = 360 Russia = 520

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
