"Level up!" is a 3-day training course aiming at empowering young people to explore possibilities of setting up an international partnership and prepare a concept of Transnational Youth Initiatives project.
If you answer the following questions with “yes”, than this training is for you! • Are you active in your community? • Do you have ideas for project/s? • Are you looking for support to put them into action? • Do you feel like making friends with inspiring people from other countries? How about Transnational Youth Initaitives? Doesn’t tell you much? Transnational Youth Initaitve is a project done by young people (13-30) in their local community and in cooperation with a group/organisation from another country. Why organise such project? • to get soft skills for your personal development (communication, cooperation skills ect.) • to get practical skills useful for your professional life (project managment, financial managment, time management, foreign languages ect.) • to do something meaningful for your community and bring positive change • to explore benefits of non-formal education • and have fun with your friends and set up a network of new connections. Aim of the Training Course To encourage Cz-PL-SK participants to organise Transnational Youth Initiatives by providing them with knowledge and necessary tools. Objectives: • to introduce the aims of Transnational Youth Initiatives in frame of Erasmus+ programme: formal and quality criteria, best practices, way of applying for grant etc.; • to empower participants to create international partnerships and prepare Transnational Youth Initiatives projects; • to develop understanding of non-formal education and its methodology and empower participants to apply it in their projects; • to explore how to benefit from international cooperation on local level. Target group: • are residents of Czech Republic, Poland or Slovakia, • are 18+, • are representatives of organisations/institutions/groups that are active locally, • already have their first experience with organising an activity (an event/workshop/charity action, exhibition, sport event, etc.) • are motivated to put their idea/s into action, • are willing to bring positive change in their community, • are opened to explore possibilities of international cooperation, • can communicate in English on basic level. • there is a possibility to come either individually or with another person from the organisation or group, Practicalities: • the training course will be held in English • participants willing to create partnership with other countries than CZ-PL-SK are very welcome as well • the first (16th March) and the last (20th March) days are travel days.

Costs

This project is financed by the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your Erasmus+: Youth in Action NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
