EVS Accreditation Workshop

Training Course

24 March 2016 | Avoca House, Parnell Street, Dublin 1, Ireland

This is a one day event aimed at organisations renewing their EVS accreditation. It is also aimed at those who are new to the action and interested in exploring whether European Voluntary Service would be a good fit for their organisation.
The workshop will take place between 9.30am and 4.30pm in Avoca House, 189-193 Parnell Street, Dublin 1. The aim is to support organisations through the EVS accreditation process. We will tell the stories of organisations involved in EVS and support applicants to strengthen particular features of their projects including: International Partnerships; Non-Formal Learning Dimension; Participation of Young People; Adding-Value to existing services; Inclusion in EVS etc. We hope this workshop will help participants to develop a strategy for implementing EVS which ties in with their organisational strategic objectives. Participants will receive an overview of the accreditation process and form. Activities will also be included to encourage organisations to formulate plans around how they might collaborate at a local/regional level to support EVS activities. By the end of the workshop, participants should be in a position to complete their accreditation application.
