Have you already taken part in the Youth in Action programme? Do you want to share your experience and motivate young people to explore the opportunities available? Do you want to be a part of a European network of young people? Become a EuroPeer!
EuroPeers are young people who have participated in the Erasmus+ and Youth in Action programme and want to share their European experiences with other young people in their community – their peers. By organising relevant activities for young people, they motivate young people to become active and to explore Europe. In this training course, the participants learn tools and receive useful information about different ways to go abroad in Europe in order to become active EuroPeers in the future. Aims and objectives of the training - Receive information on the Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme and mobility opportunities in Europe and the world - Learn more about relevant tools, for instance public speaking, press relations, non-formal education methods etc. - Developing own peer projects/ small campaign Profile of participants • Young people who have previously taken part in a Erasmus+: Youth in Action funded project (EVS, youth exchange, structured dialogue project etc.) • Between 18-30 years • Participants must be comfortable with English as a working language • Interested in becoming an active EuroPeer • Want to promote Erasmus+: Youth in Action to their peers • Able to take initiative and to work independently Expected outcomes: Participants should leave the seminar with a better understanding of what it is to be a EuroPeer and be equipped with skills and ideas to motivate others to become active in the Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme. Europeers should create own projects in their local community to inform about opportunities for young people abroad. Arrival on Monday before 17.00 and departure on Friday after 15.00. A detailed programme and further information will be sent to selected participants.

Costs

This project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses. (Info for sending NAs: This activity is covered by the 2016 TCA Budget.)
