Regional workshop for EuroPeers in the Western Balkan region

8-10 May 2016 | Novi Sad, Serbia

This WS is for young people who have participated in Youth in Action or Erasmus+:YIA projects. The WS prepares them to independently share their experiences and inspire their local peers to get involved in European mobility programmes.
The workshop aims to bring together around 25 young people who expressed interest in joining the network of EuroPeers in the Western Balkan countries. SALTO SEE has started the initiative to join the European EuroPeers network in late autumn 2015. This regional workshop should boost the motivation and basic skills and knowledge of the potential future EuroPeers and foster networking and cooperation among them at regional (Western Balkans) level. More information about the EuroPeers initiative of SALTO SEE: https://www.salto-youth.net/rc/see/europeers/ Objectives of the Workshop:  to start working with the young people who joined the EuroPeers initiative in the Western Balkan region and connect them regionally  to prepare participants for active independent participation in the EuroPeers network  to give participants basic knowledge about mobility youth programmes in Europe (focus on Erasmus+: Youth in Action)  to give participants new knowledge and skills in project management, PR activities and presentation techniques  to give participants practical ideas and tools how to teach others about Europe and Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme. Target group of the Workshop Young people who have taken part in YiA/Erasmus+: Youth in Action projects:  who want to inform and motivate by organizing independent activities other young people (their peers) about learning mobility opportunities through the Erasmus + Youth in Action programme, based on their own experience  who want to raise awareness among young people about European issues, activities and opportunities;  who feel confident to express themselves in English;  who are committed to attend the full duration of the training course;  who are at least 18 years old;  who are residents of the Western Balkans countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia).

Costs

This project is financed by the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this Workshop all relevant costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) will be covered by SALTO SEE. All other logistic matters will be given to the selected participants on time.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
