Project DEAL – Developing Entrepreneurial Abilities Laboratory aims to gather youth workers, your leaders and youngsters with entrepreneurial spirit in order to empower young people and motivate them to find their passion in life and turn it into action.
We aim to create a safe learning environment where young people will be able to learn and experiment with ideas, methods, skills and tools bringing them closer to innovative entrepreneurship. Special emphasis will be given on developing their key competences. The project aims to ensure an entrepreneurial approach to solving social and environmental problems and to encourage and support the development of a new generation of social entrepreneurs. The learning objectives of this project are: - To boost entrepreneurial mindsets of young people; - To equip youngsters out of the market with new competences and increase the quality of youth work; - To raise awareness for the importance of innovation and creativity in the development of their skills; - To empower participants to act as multipliers of good practices and disseminate relevant information and skills to involved stakeholders; - To explore possibilities for future cooperation among participants and partner organizations - To become inspired social entrepreneur or change-maker; The DEAL consists of two training events: The first training will last 6 days (+2 travel days) 27 June – 4 July 2016, with 28 participants (+2 trainers) from the partner countries (Ireland, Greece, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Italy, Malta, Poland, Slovenia). Each country will be represented with 4 participants. The venue will be in Tipperary, Ireland. The second training will last 6 days (+2 travel days) 29 August -04 September 2016, with 28 participants (+2 trainers) from the partner countries (Ireland, Greece, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Italy, Malta, Poland, Slovenia). Each country will be represented with 4 participants. The venue will be in Florina, Greece. Since this training course it’s composed from 2 events, participants who will be selected are strongly requested to attend on both trainings in Ireland and Greece. In case some of the participant is not able to attend on both of them please contact the project coordinator after the selection is made.

Costs

This project is financed by the Erasmus+ K1 (mobility for youth workers). Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the Tipperary Regional Youth Service. Travel reimbursement will be done according the Erasmus+ rules, please find attached the table with more information about your travel grant per participant. The participants are obliged to have receipts of all tickets they will use, boarding passes and invoices of the credit card that was used for buying the tickets for online payments otherwise they will not be reimbursed. In addition, the participants are expected to fully participate in the sessions unless there are health related unexpected circumstances. If there is unjustified absence from the sessions, Tipperary Regional Youth Service will not reimburse the participants. All participants will be reimbursed after the event by bank transfer.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
