NetWORK

Partnership-building Activity

2-10 October 2016 | Yerevan, Armenia, Armenia

“Need education to work (netWORK)” is a 7-day Partnership Building Activity(PBA) that involves partners from EU, SEE and EECA countries aiming to empowering youth workers overcoming youth employment issues in their own countries.
Young people in Europe are still facing unprecedented difficulties in finding job. This is still the impact of The economic crisis in the European Union that has dramatically changed the youth labor market in almost all European countries. It is our belief that youth workers from different EU and neighboring countries can change the situation locally and internationally. Thanks to mobility projects, youngsters can meet, discuss the problems of youth unemployment, share the best practices, raise the issues of unemployment, create networks and prepare/implement projects tackling the issue in their local communities and internationally. “Need education to work (netWORK)” is a 7-day Partnership Building Activity(PBA) that involves partners from EU, SEE and EECA countries aiming to empowering youth workers overcoming youth employment issues in their own countries. During the project sharing of the best practices of successful countries on youth employment, discovering job opportunities accessible for all participant countries, receiving input from trainers and experts, field visits and group discussions will lead to a creation of a contemporary method that will be used by participants to empower young job seekers to their local communities to find jobs.

We believe that youth involvement in the development of active participation in society is essential to increase the feeling of belonging and to promote a better quality of life of youngsters in their communities. MOJU is composed of a group of people who believe in the importance of youth participation in building society and these four years were marked by strong growth of the Association, now a youth mark of our city. Nowadays we have over 400 members (people over 14 years) and many partnerships with public and private entities at local and regional level.

Armenian Progressive Youth (Armenia) is a non-profit, non-political youth organization aiming
to support, inspire and engage young people from Armenia and all over the world to develop their social leadership skills, to take their civic responsibility and to act as change-makers.
Through different projects, initiatives and non-formal education tools we help young people to succeed, ensuring that they develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes and competences to fit to the modern world. We believe that progressive, educated, skillful, open-minded and engaged young people possess all the power to become actors of change in Armenia and beyond because youth is not the future but the present!
