Training Course

The training aims to empower young activists and leaders with competences to develop local and international human rights and peace projects.
To achieve this we set up the following objectives: - To empower young Human Rights (HR) activists with skills, knowledge and necessary competences to design good quality projects on HR & Peace - to help young people develop their initiatives into future HR & Peace quality projects - to have fruitful debates and learning about HR & Peace projects between young people from all over Europe - to feed the future Raising Peace Campaign with the initiatives of young activists. The Raising Peace Campaign is a networking initiative that aims to contribute to the construction of peace and the guarantee of human rights all over the world.

CCIVS became known as a space for the improvement of quality standards for exchanges and for discussion on the development of the International Voluntary Service movement. Leading the reflections of the movement on the impact, recognition and policies related to International Voluntary Service, CCIVS members work today around the five key topics of Intercultural Dialogue, Sustainable Development, World Heritage, Health and Conflict Transformation.

Costs

The project is financed by the European Youth Foundation. The financial regulations from the EYF state that participants should be aged from 18-30 years of age. If you are over this age range please still apply as there are options available. Travel reimbursement: Participants are expected to cover the travel costs of their representatives. Participants residing in Council of Europe Countries: 70% travel reimbursement up to a platform of 150€. The cost of visa will be reimbursed up to 60€. Insurance for VISA is provided by CCIVS, please communicate with the Secretariat to organise an insurance. The accommodation, food and working material costs are fully covered. Participation fees: CCIVS members: 80 € per participant CCIVS non-members: 120€ per participant
