Training Course

29 October - 5 November 2016 | Belgrade, Serbia

Learn how to educate young people about European values, implement local activities and develop exchange experience with youth workers from 18 European countries.
Training Course if first activity within the project that also includes local capacity building activities, researches, focus groups, publications and finally seminar on promotion of European values among young people in EU and South East Europe. Training Course will be hosted in Belgrade, Serbia and will gather 3 participants from partner organisations from EU candidate countries and potential candidates (Western Balkans, Macedonia and Turkey) and 1 participants from EU member states involved in the project. Training Course will provide youth workers and junior trainers from involved organisations with competences needed for implementation of local, national and international activities aiming to educate youth about European values, active participation and European citizenship, being able to facilitate any related topic such as migrations, discrimination, tolerance, EU enlargement and other topics that will be targeted during the training. Non formal education methods will be used during the training such as name games, ice breakers, group work, brainstorming, simulations, exchange of experience, preparation and practical implementation of workshops with local youth, as well as public debate that will be hosted within the activity. Based on competences from Training Course participants in candidate and potential candidate countries (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania) will implement coordinated capacity building activities. They will organise local workshops within their organisation using tools and knowledge from TC and in same time implement research about youth understanding of European values and European citizenship will be done. Participants from EU member states will contribute to researches, too.

Costs

Travel costs of participants from PL, EST, LT, RO, TR, ITA, GR, UK, GER will be reimbursed based on Erasmus+ rules and project proposal up to 275 EUR. Travel costs of participants from BG, KS, BIH, AL, SI, HR, ME and MK will be reimbursed up to 180 EUR. No travel costs will be reimbursed for participants from Serbia, Hosting organisation will not charge any participation fee. Hood and accommodation will be covered by hosting organisation. For more information about selection procedure please contact partner organisation from your country. List of partner organisations is attached.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
