Forum theater

As part of the European policy 'Europe 2020' youth it has been recognized as a social group, on which depends the future of Europe. The project tries to give for young people and youth workers the tool that is helpful in making dialog in society about youth problems. Important is the impact of youth unemployment and how they will solve the issue. Very often young people don't know how to solve it. Applicant organisation proposes for solving the problems that young people face. At the beginning start to think about it. Visualisation method is very helpful in this case: when you imagine and can see in reality your thoughts, and you can choose own reaction and observe what will happen - AFTER IN REAL LIFE YOU HAVE MORE CHANCE TO CHOOSE THE RELEVANT OPTION TO YOURSELF. Project makes promotion of the European values as respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to minorities, pluralism, non-discrimination, tolerance, justice, solidarity and equality between women and men. And it creates better understanding of these values through young people and youth workers by visualisation. We believe that project will make positive and long-lasting effects on participants and participating organizations, and policy system in general in youth issues. Project activities will make stronger the sensitivity of youth workers, social activists and ordinary people for social problems and conflicts. Participants get knowledge and deeper understanding of forum theater method and it will prepare them to use it in own youth work in home country; Project will extend the approach of youth workers and social activists that act in youth field, to encourage them for active participation about the solving problem; Participants will take social responsibility for themselves(for society, public benefit), to be more daring in public places (about public issues); It will show the importance of personal action in a world where live a lot of people and where is difficult to notice the influence of one man - project will raise the importance of personal action for participants. Young people will use in better way the communication skills, non verbal communication techniques, they will get understanding how talking to people in public places, with the aggressors in conflict situations. Main tool for project is forum theater method.
