Then we are here to provide you with the opportunity to do it from the comfort of your own living room. The online course we offer will allow you to read the content, watch short movies, play short games and explore quizzes. Ready? Participants: This course can be explored by the youth workers to support their learning process. Also, youth workers can use this basic module or a part of it in their work with young people. For the same support reason, the platform offers other tools (The career box, The simulation box of jobs) and one online training (The youth worker online course). The course is open for participants from Programme and Partner countries of E+. Programme countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein and Turkey. Topics covered We will cover some main elements in the following areas: • Learning goals • Individual and group learning • Obstacles in learning • Learning Styles • Motivation for learning • Multiple Intelligence Theory • Time management • Information management • The proper lifestyle for quick learning Learning tools: You will use different learning essentials during the course, including the following ones: online textbooks, peer evaluation, challenges - missions, short games, short movies, supplementary bibliography, quizzes etc. Time: You will need between 25 to 50 hours to complete the course, depending on your study pace, as well. You can choose your own study period within the general course period proposed, May 2017. If you start in May, the modules will be available later on as well in case you can’t finish all the activities in the planned month. Price Our course is free of charge for the participants, thanks to the funds from Erasmus+ programme and the efforts made by the team of the project. Certificate When you have fulfilled the basic requirements, you will get a course attendance certificate. Languages: The course will be available in English and later on in Romanian. Levels: Basic - Intermediate Follow up After the course, in May-June-August 2017: - you can join THE LEARNING TO LEARN HANSE – a proposed virtual sharing space; - you can join THE YOUTH WORKER HANSE – a proposed virtual space for a community of youth workers in Europe; - you can apply for a face-to-face meeting: a 3-day multiplier event taking place in Romania in July 2017; The project This course is provided through the E+ project ”The suitcase, the map and the voyage of a youth worker”, funded with support from the European Commission.
