30 August - 6 September 2017 | Allinge, Bornholm, Denmark

TC for youth workers about finding their Inner Leadership and new ways of upgrading the quality of life. During the TC a space will be created for personal development in connection with nature through becoming more conscious of personal learning process.
The activity will take place on the summer island Bornholm from the 30th August-6th of September and will be a semi-outdoor training course involving 24 (2 per country) motivated youth workers from UK, Spain, Estonia, Malta, Czech Republic, Romania, Cyprus, Slovakia, Latvia, France and Belgium. The participants will meet on the sunny Island Bornholm and supported by the team of trainers a space will be created for personal development in connection with nature through reflection on our concerns and passions as well as becoming more conscious of our personal learning process. We believe that gaining a deeper understanding of who we are and what we can do for others is an empowering process which can lead to positive changes for the future of society. Moreover it is necessary that youth workers know how they can support young people in facing their own challenges and thereby continue to grow as a person. After the training, participants are expected to adopt a multiplier role: they will lead young people in their home organisations and communities through a personal learning journey to craft and find powerful and meaningful responses to the challenges of the 21st century. For whom? The profile of the participants are youth workers from NGO´s and public bodies who are involved in environmental learning and working with all kinds of youngsters. The participants learning needs and contributions will play an important role. We are looking for participants who are familiar with the topic and who can reflect about it from an holistic point of view. Participants should have good command of English, and be willing and committed to work hard in a demanding environment outdoor as well as indoor. Moreover, you as a participant should be willing to go on an intensive journey where you explore diversity and discover variated views on this topic. You will also have a multiplier role, in other words: you will adapt what you learn in this training course to the context of your work with youngsters This training is for you if: you work with young people you are over the age of 18 you are willing to explore and experience inner leadership through 8-12 hour daily program you are coming from: Denmark, UK, Spain, Estonia, Malta, Czech Republic, Romania, Cyprus, Slovakia, Latvia, France or Belgium. The training will be conducted in simple easy to understand english and participants must be capable of communicating in simple English. Information about venue With.In Nature consists of indoor and outdoor parts. Most of the time participants will spend in the indoor facilities in a hotel in Allinge (http://www.hosengholm.dk/). During the outdoor part participants will have 1-2 days journey around the surrounding area. Participants will be accommodated in 2-3 person rooms. Towels and bed linen, as well as room cleaning service is provided by the hotel. Wifi connection is accessible 24/7. For the outdoor part tents will be provided and also sleeping bags if needed. Participants will be asked to take sleeping bags and pads with themselves on the project. Participants will be selected by the partner organisations together with the trainers and the selection will be based on your experience as youth worker, your motivation to participate in the project and your willingness to implement the learned in your work context

Dansk ICYE has more than 35 years of experience in coordinating various kinds of youth exchanges, primarily through our own programs and the European Volunteer Services (EVS). Dansk ICYE is a youth organization with a large group of dedicated volunteers and youth leaders. Through international Youth Exchanges we want to give young people from different EU and EECA countries the opportunity to come together for a better cultural understanding. Dansk ICYE has together with partner organizations participated in and hosted several youth exchanges and training courses since 2011. Costs

This project is financed by the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel,etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the project. Travel reimbursement Max.
