Youth Voice at the European Elections 2019 - campaign coordination meeting

SALTO-YOUTH Participation and Information Resource Centre (SALTO PI) and the European Youth Forum are convening a 2-day meeting for International Non-Governmental Youth Organisations (INGYOs) and National Youth Councils (NYCs) that are planning large-scale projects and campaigns aimed at increasing young people's impact on the European Elections in 2019. With the European Elections at our doorstep, many of us are starting to think about how to give more prominence to the youth voice in the run-up to the elections. We are convening this meeting with the intent of facilitating sharing of information about each other's plans, and of coordinating our efforts and messages wherever possible. The outcome of the meeting will hopefully be a detailed overview of all the main activities that are carried out aimed at youth participation in the European Elections. We would also like to explore the possibility of agreeing on common messages and a common branding identity for an online campaign. We would therefore like to invite a representative of your organisation to this meeting, which will take place at the European Commission, Directorate-General of Education and Culture (DG EAC) in Brussels on 24th and 25th September 2018. The meeting will be facilitated by the European Youth Forum. For participants who are located outside of Brussels, transport costs to and from Brussels as well as accommodation costs in Brussels will be covered by SALTO PI. We would kindly ask you to indicate the interest of your organisation to attend the meeting and to nominate a representative by filling out the following form by no later than 31.08.2018. As places are limited, we will make a selection based on responses and ensuring diversity of participants.
