Keep Calm and Think Strategically- Engaging with Youth Policy

Training Course

27-29 March 2019 | Dublin, Ireland

The aim of this training is to demystify youth work policy, in particular at a European level and support youth work practitioners to practically link their local practice to European policy.

This is an international training and we are looking for a range of activities designed for coordinators/managers, focusing on the following areas:

- Policy: how it shapes and impacts our work

- Challenges faced by youth organisations to engage with policy

- Current trends of youth work at a local/national and European leve

- Provide a clearer understanding of European policy with Erasmus + and the application process.

- Engaging with and integrating European policy into plans and strategies- why do it?

- Erasmus+: A tool to help achieve policy objectives

- Peer-to-peer exchanges

This training is particularly timely with the adoption of the new EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027 and takes part of the project Europe Goes Local - Supporting Youth Work at a Municipal Level.
