Volunteering Projects for All - inclusion hackathon

23-27 September 2019 | Tampere, Finland

Aim of this inclusion hackathon is together with experienced organization to find out how we could promote inclusion volunteering project under the European Solidarity corps.

Chosen inclusion ambassadors will together create promoting material for spreading the inclusion message and convincing others by having lots of arguments and material for sharing good practice working with young people with fewer opportunities.  

It is also opportunity to participants to:

- Promo and recognition for their organisation and work done with this target group by using volunteering activities.

- Possibility to work with new inclusion organisations; networking and partner finding.

- Supporting more inclusion opportunities for young people with fewer opportunities in the European programmes.

This activity is for organizations who have done successful volunteering projects before and who are committed to promote the message of inclusion and give similar opportunities in the future as well.   Activity is open for variety of profiles/experiences, maximum 2 participants per organization:

- Working with Different target groups (the 7 exclusion obstacles: disability, geo, socio-econ, educ,…)

- Different type of organisations (ngo, social enterprise, municipality, faith-based, big and small)

- Different type of volunteering done (group, individual, short, long, in-country etc.)

Costs

Participation fee

This project is financed by the participating NAs of the European Solidarity Corps. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your NA to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.

Accommodation and food

The hosting National Agency of this offer will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.

 

Travel reimbursement

Your sending National Agency will support your travel costs. After being selected, please contact your NA to learn more about how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
