The training will have many practical emements. Volunteers from Armenia, Russia and Spain who are currecntly doing their EVS in the town will be involved. We will visit several organizations working with international and local volunteer in the town and the region.
Examples of learning outcomes
Preparation: after the training the participants from different organisations will be more aware of the needs of the volunteers and organisations and how to align them before the volunteer comes.
The organisational skills: we will make sure that the participants understand better after the training the importance of setting up the appropriate tasks for the volunteers, while having in mind the learning process of the volunteer and the mission of the organisation at the same time.
Communication skills: the training will to a high extend focus on the importance of effective communication (how to communicate with the volunteer(s), rest of the team, with the coordinating organisation, sending organisation, etc.).
Intercultural learning: the participants will also understand more on the importance of keeping in mind different cultural background of the volunteers.
Organizers
Ondrej Mäsiar is chairman of Mladiinfo Slovensko. He did his EVS in Mladiinfo organization in Skopje Macedonia in 2010. In 2017 he was recognized by the European Commission as a inspiring young change maker who under the Erasmus+ programme has made an impact in the communities, inspired other citizens and developed innovative ideas.
Ivana Petrisková started as project coordinator at Mladiinfo Slovensko in Bratislava in 2017. She has been actively involved in different NGOs, working with the topics such as development, democracy, dialogue, good governance or youth work since 2013.

Mladiinfo Slovensko (Youth NGO)
Mladiinfo Slovensko is an experienced organization within the framework of European Voluntary Service (EVS) / European Solidarity Corps (ESC) program. There have been more then 200 volunteers who we sent for projects abroad and around 100 who did their volunteering projects in Slovakia. Mladiinfo organized short and long term volunteering projects, several group volunteering projects, one large scale project and one capacity building volunteering project in Southeast Asia. As a coordinator Mladiinfo coordinated volunteering projects for 7 organizations like schools, NGOs or Youth council of Slovakia (RmS) with accreditation to host volunteers.
