Conference – Symposium - Forum

26 May - 17 June 2020 | Germany

Digital and smart youth work have been widely debated and conceptualised over the last years. It is time to do the same for international youth mobility which is one of the cornerstones of youth work.

How are digital tools used to support youth mobility in Europe today? What new potentials can be seen in digital and tech horizons in order to further develop youth mobility, inclusion and participation? How do people active in the youth mobility field deal with all of this and where do they see the biggest hindrances and unleashed potentials? The conference programme will provide diverse opportunities to explore these issues through speeches, workshops, inspiring sessions, debates etc.

Aims

To give an overview of the state of research and to exchange a variety of good practice examples.

To discuss potential for development, needs and requirements in the field of youth mobility in the digital era and to explore different aspects and perspectives.

To offer a space for debate and exchange of visions.

To put forward common ideas regarding the direction youth mobility in the digital era could and should take on local, national and European levels.

To give participants the space to offer workshops within the Good Pratice Gallery and 4 pillars:

  • Collaboration and participation
  • Organisation and communication
  • Social Media and networking
  • Training and quality

Participants

  • Youth workers (experienced or highly interested) in international youth mobility and/or digital youth work
  • Decision-makers and stakeholders in the field of youth mobility
  • Experts and researchers in international youth mobility and digital youth work
