Cross Over - Training for Quality in Strategic Cooperation Across Sectors for the Youth Field

Training Course

7-11 September 2021 | Budapest, Hungary

The TC aims to contribute to improving the quality of project preparation and implementation, and to achieving a greater positive impact of developed KA2 projects on different levels relevant for youth and the youth field.

Background information:

Cross Over is a long-term Training and Cooperation Activity of national agencies of the Erasmus+ Program with the aim of broadening the involvement of organisations in Erasmus+ KA2 partnerships for cooperation, as well as of improving the quality of, and with a positive impact on the youth field.

The long-term Training and Cooperation Activity consists of a national and a transnational phase:

1) National activity for preparation of participants prior to the transnational Training Course

2) Transnational Training Course of 3 full working days (hosted in Budapest, on 07-11. 09. 2021)

3) Optional: National follow-up activity (if needed to further support participants)

About the national activities (1; 3), please contact the National Agency in your country.

Description of the Transnational Training Course:

Through the present call, we are looking for participants for the Cross Over Transnational Training Course on quality elements of KA2 partnerships for cooperation in/for the youth field.

The Transnational Training Course is preceded - and if relevant followed - by national support activities provided for participants by their respective National Agencies. This way the long-term process offers participating organisations structured, diverse, tailor-made support for their involvement in high-quality partnerships for cooperation in the youth field.

The Transnational Training Course will bring together 2-5 participants per country - participants who have taken part in the national activities in their respective country.

Aims and Objectives of the Transnational Training Course:

  • To support participants in developing KA2 projects (Partnerships for cooperation and Small-Scale Partnerships in the field of youth) in an international context with a special focus on current features and expectations of KA2 in the new Erasmus+ programme
  • To explore the quality aspects of KA2 youth sectorial or cross-sectorial projects for the youth field
  • To get familiar with some real projects (being) implemented, and consult with their project promoters
  • To create opportunities for participants for sharing good practices, for further developing their project ideas as well as for networking and partnership-building

Through this, the TC aims to contribute to improving the quality of project preparation and implementation, and to achieving a greater positive impact of developed KA2 projects on different levels relevant for youth and the youth field.

The Cross Over Transnational Training Course is for participants who:

  • come from one of the following countries that take part in the Cross Over TCA: Belgium FR, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Serbia or Slovakia
  • are able to work in English
  • are aged 18 or more

  • have at least a project concept for KA2 in/for the youth field or represent a potential KA2 project idea in/for the youth field supported by their organisation (ideally have a mandate to fully take part in the project planning process).

Participants delegated by partners involved in the same project idea from different participating countries are welcome to apply. Prior experience in implementing KA2 projects in Erasmus+ is not required.

In case the activity can be realised as planned, the travel, health and safety recommendations in the participating countries will be fully respected.
