Brothers for Quality for V4

Training Course

5-8 December 2021 | Praha, Czech Republic

Doing volunteering projects with the European Solidarity Corps? Spending a lot of time and energy on recruiting volunteers and finding a supporting partner for them abroad?

We invite representatives of the organizations holding Quality Label from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia for the Partnership Building Activity that will take place in Prague.

We invite participants to join from 5th to 8th December. There will be two working days. 5th of December is the arrival day and the 8th of December is the departure day.

Activity will support the capacities of organisations that actively participate in volunteering actions of the European Solidarity Corps, in order to ensure quality and impact in the respective projects in connection to partners.

The activity will be taking place in Prague, which gives an opportunity to discover the city just before Christmas.

The activity aims to:

  •  further, stimulate the development of volunteering projects within the European Solidarity Corps
  • foster partnership building and project management
  • ensure effectiveness as well as to stimulate the development of cooperation among voluntary organisations
  • gain skills for any other projects.

At the end of the PBA, participants will acquire useful practical skills to foster the development of quality volunteering projects between the countries, which will result also in a number of collaborative agreements between participating organizations.

The programme will focus on:

  • implementation of the new priorities of the Programme in the partnerships,
  • role of the partners in the supporting process - from recruitments of the volunteers to the reintegration after the projects,
  • how to find, build and keep quality partnerships
  • how to engage and motivate volunteers in the project
  • how to manage partnership working with volunteers with fewer opportunities
  • cooperation for hosting and supporting, sharing responsibilities between organisations;
  • focus on the preparation phase
  • how to support each other for a successful projects.

We are looking for participants (together with other members of their organisations) who:

  • are involved in the Volunteering Actions in European Solidarity Corps Programme,
  • are connected to organisations/institutions holding a Quality Label for Volunteering,
  • have a crucial role in coordinating or implementing volunteering activities,
  • or the other members of participants organisation are motivated to increase the quality of the partnerships in projects.

The activity is planned to be residentially hosted. In case the COVID-19 situation prevails and prevents travelling, the organiser reserves the right to cancel the residential activity and organising the activity online.

The organisers will ensure that safety and hygienic measures needed in relation to Covid-19 are in place during the activity.

The organiser will follow and apply all COVID-19 health and safety guidelines which are valid by the time of the seminar. All selected participants will need to be able to show the European digital corona certificate (EUDCC). All participants will be accommodated in single rooms. More information will be provided to the selected participants.

We will follow the regulations of the Czech government, which you can find on this page. We also monitor a list of the countries according to their level of COVID- 19 risk. Considering the rules we would prefer to have participants with covid certificates (vaccinated or had Covid in the last 180 days).

We are assuming that participants without such a certificate would have to go to quarantine and therefore couldn´t participate in the NET.  Facemask is still mandatory indoors and we assume there will be no changes in this case.

Besides the regulations, we can provide Covid self-tests if needed.
