19-25 May 2022 | Tenerife. Canary Islands, Spain
Growing Minds training course will take place in Tenerife, from May 19th to 25th, 2022, where we will carry out various educational activities and workshops, using variousnon-formal education tools.
The course is planned to answer the need for easily adaptabletools to work with youngsters in nature which would supporttheir well-being and their deeper self-reflection.
All these educational tools will be combined with dynamics ofenvironmental education in nature, and through experientialmethodologies, teamwork, and deeper reflection.
The program of our course is built around several thematic blocks, distributed throughout eachworking day:
1 - Getting to know each other, working as a community, building a support network
2 - Discovering the natural environment, outdoor educational tools
3 - Mindfulness Practice, Nature Work, Introduction to the Elements of NonviolentCommunication
4 - Designing educational itineraries for activities with young people
5 - Dissemination and evaluation activities
As a result of the course participants will take away easy andready to use short practices to lead with their groups.

We do not have participation fee, but we ask participants to cooperate and help us with logistic, by covering themself, one lunch, and one dinner during the free time activities.
Acomodation and food will be cover and provided by the organization.
Check the infopack file, the meals will be vegetarian , with vegan option.
Travel reimbursment will be made after the project and disemination activities are made, according to distance bands of Erasmus+ projects.
