Partnership-building Activity

The activity is a study visit / partnership building activity for LGTBQI+ community who work with LGTBQI+ young people. During the activity there will be a focus on LGTBQI+ Youth work and intersectionality

the activity is a study visit / partnership building activity for LGTBQI+ community who work with LGTBQI+ young people. During the activity there will be a focus on LGTBQI+ Youth projects and intersectionality. It is a space to get inspired by each other’s practices, local organizations and to create opportunities for partnership building in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme and the European Solidarity Corps. 

Background of the project and aims:

The idea behind this activity is to focus on LGTBQI+ Youth and Intersectionality. The basics of both topics will be handled by using non-formal learning methods. This in combination with exploring practices of the field and input sessions on certain intersections.

Objectives:

  • Create network opportunities between the participants to support the participation in Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps.
  • Share practices on working with LGBTQI+ topics/target groups
  • Create insights on intersectionality in combination with LGTBQI+ Youth

Target group/participants profile

LGBTQI+ oriented organisations working with youth (volunteers and staff), representatives of LGBTQI+ movements or youthwork organisations focusing on LGTBQI+ youth and intersectionality

Participation fee

This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.

Accommodation and food

Unless specified otherwise, the hosting NA or SALTO of this offer will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.

Travel reimbursement

Please contact your NA or SALTO in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
