Europe Goes Local Webinar: Fostering Meaningful Communication (Dialogue) in Your Local Reality

Seminar

9 June 2022 | On-line via Zoom, Belgium - FL

This webinar is to present the Finnish model of “Timeout-Dialogue”. The session will take place on Zoom from 12:30 CET to 15:30 CET.

Dialogue is essential for better understanding diversity of voices in local realities. Dialogue is a space where those voices can come together as equals to listen and learn from each other. Through committing to dialogue, one can better understand the complexity of local issues, combat polarization and support democratic processes and participation, especially for those whose voices are often left unheard.

In this webinar you will:

. Gain understanding of dialogicality and the “Timeout-Dialogue” -model (Finland)

. Learn ways how to involve young people equally to discussions in your community

. Better understand how complexity and challenging topics become a richness for learning and development in local realities

. Reflect on your own ways of communication towards your stakeholders

. Hear examples of dialogue having an impact on democratic processes

. Practice your own dialogicality
