Partnership-building Activity

12-19 November 2017 | Moscow, Russian Federation

Do you want to find reliable partners for future youth projects together?! Then we have an event for you!
We invite you to join the event “Find Partners!” where you will have the opportunity to find good partners for your future projects as well as will learn about the ways how the organizations can find partners. Finding good partners for the project some times can be a tough task! We invite you for the partnership building activity where you will be able to meet the potential partners for the project. But in addition to the regular partnership building activity we will share with you tools that will help you to find good partners in future as well and also – develop successful cooperation and design great projects together. Often just finding a good partner is not enough to build the successful cooperation. Cultural differences and misunderstandings often become a reason of failing partnerships. At the same time even if you meet a perfect partner and immediately build good contact there still might be issues with designing a project together. The lack of experience and knowledge of project management might lead to designing the project which won’t be successful. We invite you to the event where you will be able to learn how to find good partners, how to understand that this is the right partner for you, how to develop successful relationship, how to design professional project and how to apply for funding together! The event is designed for youth workers who would like to advance in their work and be more successful finding partners and developing projects together. The foundations of effective communication with partners – we will share with you how to develop successful cooperation and how to overcome the cultural differences and turn them into the ways of enriching the project. We will discuss the cultural differences and similarities; we will share with you how to develop successful partnerships with people from particular countries. You will learn the foundations of intercultural management and cooperation. How to design projects together – you will learn how to design a successful project. You will learn the foundations of project management which will allow you to design projects in a professional manner. Fundraising for future projects – we will share with you information on sources of funding for international projects. There are European youth programs that can fund your projects but there are also many other programs. For example, if you work with the organization from Russia – there are some donors that can finance these type of projects. If you would like to work with American organization – you can apply to relevant donors. We will share with you the information on fundraising depending on the nature and geography of your partner and project. Though the event is designed for youth workers and aims on improving the quality of their work, the learning outcomes of the course can be used in other fields as well. If you will develop your career in the field of business or in any other area you still can use the learnt skills and knowledge for building successful partnerships and implementing successful projects in nearly any area. The course is organized by the Netherlands Institute of Business – international NGO based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. We are always open for new partnerships and would be happy to cooperate with the participants who would be interested in working together with the organization from the Netherlands!
