No to Discrimination

Training Course

24-29 November 2017 | Georgia

Erasmus+ training course for youth workers from both EU and Eastern Partnership countries interested in discovering new methods to fight discrimination and promote intercultural dialogue among youth.
The main idea of this training course is to gather youth workers from EU and EaP countries and give them a chance to explore the methods of non-formal education that can be used for building more peaceful Europe and prevent discrimination based on people's cultural background. By taking part in this project, the youth workers will be equipped with practical tools enabling them to approach the topic from a new perspective and in consequence to be able to create quality educational activities addressed to youth at risk (mostly young people with migration background). The objectives of the TC are: 1) Understanding of existing problems and its causes, exploring existing lines of tensions/conflicts in Europe. 2) Teaching young leaders useful tools and methodologies in order to reduce discriminatory and stereotypical thinking. 3) To have a space for young leaders to share their best practices of their local societies. 4) To involve young leaders from minority groups from various European and neighbor countries. 5) Strengthening partnership cooperation among European Union and Eastern Partnership countries and empowering EECA NGOs. 6) Creation of a network of likeminded organizations and individuals interested in further cooperation in the field of anti-discrimination and inter-cultural dialogue. The project objectives are defined as follows: 1) Understanding of existing problems and its causes, exploring existing lines of tensions/conflicts in Europe.
