Training Course

Start-up in E+ is a 6 days long training course aimed to develop entrepreneurial competences of young people by equipping youth workers with a set of competences, tools and resources to promote entrepreneurship in their local communities.
Enhancing initiative and sense of entrepreneurship is the ultimate goal of this training course which aims to equip participants, namely youth workers and youth leaders, with a set of tools to effectively foster entrepreneurship in their local communities. Exploring the role and the possibilities that Erasmus+ programme offer is another aim of this activity, as well as disseminating tools and methods to work this topic with young people. Working sessions have been grouped into two main blocks of sessions as detailed below: 1. COMPETENCIES FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP: The first block of contents are the so called competences for entrepreneurship, where the participants will get familiar with the main competences of the field and: o Identifying Key Competences for Entrepreneurship o Self Assessment of Competencies for Entrepreneurship o Strategies to strengthen key competencies for Entrepreneurship o Exploring Motivation & Inner Interests - Ikigai o Drafting Business Ideas – Canvas o Effective Communication - Elevator Pitch 2. RESOURCES FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP: The sessions belonging to this group aim to provide a complete set of available tools resources to promote entrepreneurship. o Support structures on Entrepreneurship o Erasmus+ and Erasmus+ for Young Entrepreneurs o Funding opportunities Additionally, a workshop has been scheduled in order to make participants acquainted with different Non-formal education based methodologies on fostering entrepreneurship among young people. Out of the main blocks there are more sessions scheduled in the training course. They provide the required framework to develop an effective learning space. A. COMMON SESSIONS: These sessions deal with aspects like improving participants capabilities for team work, presentation of participants, closing of the event, setting the activity groundbase rules, etc. B. LEARNING PROCESS: These activities aim to analyze, reinforce and evaluate the learning process experiented by the participants throughout the course: Reflection groups, learning evaluation - Youthpass. The intercultural dimension of the project will be given by the different nationalities involved in the project and by the high degree of interaction among them the participants. Sessions like the Intercultural night will be an additional effort to strengthen this cooperation.

This project is financed by the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country.
