“Social Entrepreneurship Training 4 Youth Power / SET YP”

“SET YP” activity plan contributes “to acquire and develop a mix of knowledge, skills and attitudes youth need to succeed in the labor market” and generally to achieving the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy and objectives of the Commission in the field of social entrepreneurship.
The project aims to develop structured and innovative solutions towards increasing employability potential throughout providing youth workers them knowledge on social entrepreneurship & innovation.
“SET YP” has following specific objectives:
 Build capacity of the partnership in the field of social entrepreneurship and SI education, facilitate the transfer of best practices and boost human capital of consortium throughout learning mobility;
 Build capacity of the partnership in the field of non-formal learning methods applied to NEETs, in particular in the field of applying gamification approach to organization of learning process;
 Increase employability potential of NEETs throughout fostering their transversal skills and providing them with knowledge on social entrepreneurship and Social Innovation (SI);
 Develop comprehensive training module on SI education for NEETs and elearning platform sustainable beyond the „SET YP‟ lifetime;
 Encourage cooperation and networking between youth work and social business sector on national and international levels;
 Promote entrepreneurship and SI worldwide and European policies and activities in the field of social economy, in particular European Social Innovation Competition;
 Promote Youth on the Move and Erasmus+ programme, its objectives and opportunities, especially in the partner countries.

This is the long term project with the following activities: 

- International Training Course on Social Innovation Education 11-19 May 2019 in Corfu, Greece.

- Local activities and Competition of business ideas; The youth workers who have been participating in the International Training Course on Social Innovation Education (Greece) will first plan, structure and prepare the workshops content for 5 separate activities on SI. The partner organizations will organize set of 5 local hub meetings aiming to provide knowledge and understanding of SI to NEETs. 

- Seminar in Nepal in 2020 aims to facilitate evaluation of the hub activity – conclude efficiency of the methods used, including the gamification approach, learning achievements of the youth workers and the youth participating in hub, results of the competition.

- Development of online long-term training course on the social innovation and E-learning platform.

This project will involve participants from Belgium, Poland, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Colombia, Nepal, Kenia, Peru, Vietnam .

This is the call for the training course in Corfu, Greece. Priority will be give to the candidates availble to participate in the entire project including training course in Corfu, local activities and Seminar in Nepal.
