E-learning

2-6 November 2020 | Spain

“ABC on Volunteering mentorship, T.C.” is an opportunity for organizations running projects in the European Solidarity Corps, interested to train their mentors (or potential)

Nowadays we find that parts of the volunteer’s mentors have a big mobility and not a continuation in their role as mentors. Sometimes they are just volunteers with almost no link with the organization, lack of resources and tools to develop their roles and basic info about the European Solidarity Corps programme.

This training offer to mentors or potential mentors the opportunity to get trained in their task as mentors, to go deeper in the essence of the volunteering activities under the European Solidarity Corps, to find tools and resources for their daily task as mentors, know and share with other colleagues the realities or their projects and the different singularities in each project, offering the basic learning for mentoring volunteering activities (preparation, implementation & follow up phases),  aiming to develop their knowledge and skills to better support European volunteers and volunteer learning process in the frame of the European Solidarity Corps programme.

During the TC participants will learn more about the ESC programme, roles of the different key stakeholders on volunteering activities, in special, the role of the mentor, the knowledge and skills needed, how to support the learning process, tips to solve difficulties, conflicts or problems, how to convert challenges in new opportunities…

The TC is offer mainly to potential future mentors or mentors interested to improve their competences in the mentorship of ESC volunteers.
